Based out of United Sports in Downingtown, PA, The Blitz is a competitive flag football club, comprised of players from the NFL Flag Football leagues in and around United Sports. Locations for these leagues include Downingtown, West Chester, Malvern, and Lancaster in PA, as well as Hockessin, DE.

Who We Are
The Blitz is a youth flag football club that participates in tournaments throughout the year. We believe in hard work & discipline, we promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and we do so while competing at the highest level. We work hard, we play hard, and we never quit!
We believe that every young athlete that plays with us needs to embody these 3 things:

Teams play 5v5, so rosters are typically only 8-10 players. Tryouts are twice annually, with Fall/Winter season tryouts in August, while Spring/Summer season will tryout in December. See below for more information on our next tryouts, and how your child can become a member of The Blitz!

Season Information
We have two (2) tournament seasons each year, both requiring separate tryouts. Every player must tryout each season. There are no guarantees – everyone earns their spot on The Blitz.
Fall/Winter Season
- Tryouts take place in May-June. For 2025, they’ll be Saturdays 5/31, 6/7, & 6/14 (if needed).
- Teams will play in 4-5 tournaments between August-December 2025
- Registration for tryouts will open on April 1, 2025
Spring/Summer Season
- Tryouts take place in December, typically around the holidays. Teams are mostly set for Spring 2025, but if you still have interest you can contact Rick Knowles at [email protected]
- Teams will play in 4-5 tournaments between April-July, with dates to be finalized by team. Tentative dates are:
- 4/27 at United Sports
- 5/16-5/18 in Conshohocken
- One in June TBD (6/1, 6/15, or 6/29 – locations vary)
- 7/25-7/27 in Conshohocken
